Media Receptions  

 

Get connected with Canada’s leading journalists, travel writers, editors, television and radio broadcasters, producers and photographers, in an educational and productive surrounding. Our tourism Center is pleased to offer our clients organized Media Receptions which will help educate and update the media on what you have to offer!

 

These seminars are offered as breakfast and/or dinner marketplaces where the media audience is invited to meet with you for face to face interaction. We handle all components of these receptions including, and not limited to:

 

invitations

sending out the invites to selected media personnel

reminder follow ups to ensure good attendance

booking venues

cater requirements (meals included for all attendees and representatives)

décor/room set up

arranging and rental of AV requirements, if needed

arranging reduced rate hotel accommodations for representatives attending

providing an onsite tourism center representative

all transport of materials within Canada

post event follow up

This is a great opportunity to meet with many media personnel and develop relationships that will result in key exposure for your region. It will help you to announce new developments, produce media articles, expand coverage and initialize key contacts for future industry events. Each seminar usually attracts between

40 – 80 media personnel depending on time, date and city where it is held.

The media audience will be addressed both in a marketplace forum and as well; each representative will have the opportunity to address the audience as a whole. You can offer individual prizes from your representatives or a prize as a whole from the region, if you wish.

Typically these receptions are done in cities like Toronto, Ontario and Montreal, Quebec and we recommend that we organize one or two media receptions in conjunction with the Customized Sales Mission where we visit agencies throughout the day and either start with a media breakfast or end with a dinner reception in the city of choice.

If these seminars are done together with the Customized Sales Mission, transportation by deluxe minibus or 48 pax coach is included. If these seminars are done separate from the Sales Mission, additional transportation options would need to be factored (deluxe coach to cities, train and/or flight service
